Groomer for Dummies
Every company can test and improve how visible their brand is to AI systems like ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. Here is how Groomer helps you do exactly that.
Why does this matter?
AI assistants are becoming the new search engines. When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude for a recommendation, will your brand be mentioned? Most companies have no idea whether AI crawlers can even see their website.
Groomer gives you a clear picture of where you stand today and a practical way to improve your AI visibility over time.
The Three Pillars
1. Can AI Crawlers See You?
AI platforms send crawlers to index websites, just like Google does. But many websites accidentally block them. The AI Readiness report tells you exactly what is going on.
- Check if OpenAI, Google and Anthropic crawlers can access your site
- Get a recommended robots.txt and llms.txt configuration
- Receive a detailed score across 9 readiness categories
2. How Present Is Your Brand?
The AI Brand Radar asks each AI platform directly about your brand and topics. It measures awareness, expected mentions and sentiment, giving you a concrete baseline score.
- Scan your brand across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity
- Get a 0-10 awareness score per platform
- Track changes over time with scan history
3. Improve Your Placement
Groomer generates targeted, multi-turn prompts that help AI systems associate your brand with your key topics. Use them carefully and monitor the results.
- Generate prompts tailored to your website, topics and personas
- Support for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity and MiniMax
- Test prompts directly and measure their effect with re-scans
The Groomer Cycle
Scan, improve, re-scan. Repeat weekly for the best results.
- Run the AI Readiness check to ensure crawlers can see your site
- Scan your brand presence across AI platforms to get a baseline
- Generate and use targeted prompts to improve your placement
- Re-scan weekly to measure progress and adjust your strategy
A Word of Caution
We do not know exactly how the ranking algorithms of OpenAI, Google and Anthropic work. What we do know is that using well-crafted, contextual prompts can influence how these systems perceive and reference your brand.
Use Groomer prompts thoughtfully, not excessively. After each round of prompts, wait at least one week before re-scanning to measure the actual impact. Quality over quantity.
About Groomer
"Grooming" in the context of Large Language Models (LLMs) refers to providing contextual guidance to help LLMs understand the relevance and importance of specific content. Groomer generates prompts that instruct LLMs about your website, increasing the likelihood that your content will be appropriately referenced in AI-generated responses.
